10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Booker T

Tell me you didn't just say that!

WWE.comWWE.comBooker T will go down in WWE history as the most successful wrestler that WWE received from WCW when they bought them out. He started in WWE following the demise of WCW in 2001 and was immediately feuding with the top guys in the company like Steve Austin and The Rock. It was a lot of pressure, but Booker showed he was talented enough to get the job done. His first run in WWE lasted six years and during that time he won the WCW Title again (for the 5th) plus the World Heavyweight Title in 2006. In addition to that, he went on to win nearly every championship he could win except for the WWE Title. He also did an amazing job after he won the King of the Ring in 2006 as he transformed himself into this egotistical heel with a corny British accent that was pretty hilarious coming from a guy that was from Houston. That "King Booker" run was outstanding. He really deserved to be the World Champion when he was in that role. Few "kings" in WWE did as good a job as him. Booker is 49 years old and not wrestling in WWE anymore although he does wrestle at indy shows on weekends sometimes. He does work for WWE as an announcer on pre & post shows for a number of WWE events. Like with anybody else in the history of WWE, there are things from Booker's career that WWE isn't going to brag about when talking about his accomplishments. These are not things that will be used to tear him down or anything like that. They are merely bits of information that you probably won't hear on Raw, Smackdown, PPV or any other kind of show of importance. Since Booker did work in WCW, it's important to note that these are only things that happened during his time in WWE. It's not WWE's fault if they booked him in stupid storylines like GI Bro. Here's a look at ten things WWE wants you to forget about 2013 Hall of Famer Booker T.
