10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Kane

The wacky adventures of The Big Red Machine.

During his appearance on Steve Austin's podcast in February 2015, Triple H referred to Kane as 'the constant'. It is true that the Kane character has been a constant fixture of WWE television since 1997. In that time there have been somer serious highs and some even lower lows. Kane has been a main event player, battling the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin during the Attitude Era but he has also been on dark match duty (as he was at WrestleMania XIX in 2003) and out of the organisations' plans. Ever the company man, Glen Jacobs just sucks it up and gets on with the job at hand. He really has been the consummate professional over the years. Which is admirable, when you consider some of the truly off-the-wall material that he has been made to go along with. Jacobs' WWE career got off to a bizarre start when he was tasked with playing the fake Diesel and Dr. Isaac Yankem DDS but they were nothing compared to Kane, who has one of the most bizarre and convoluted stories in WWE history. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2Oc3Y96dJ0 The one-time pyromaniac has evolved significantly over the years. He went from a jacked-up, possibly horrifically burned, non-speaking demon to resembling a middle-aged account. In between he was involved in a lot of (pre-PG) incidents that WWE probably want you to forget.
