10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Miz

10. Those Awkward Early Appearances

Ok, so it's not all WWE's fault. Back when The Miz first showed up on programming as a loudmouth host in 2006, the guy really should have been more prepared than he was. Unlikeable as a brash ex-reality TV star who had come to conquer pro wrestling during his time on Tough Enough several years before, Miz was even more insufferable on Raw.

The worst moment came during that bow as the 'Diva Search' master of ceremonies on 10 July 2006. Looking nervous, out of his element and unsure how to take overwhelming apathy from the live audience, the future WWE Champ fluffed his lines more than once. As if that wasn't bad enough, he nervously giggled even when things were going badly wrong.

Contrast this with the super-confident heel who stands on episodes of Raw now and it's like night and day. WWE probably want fans to forget just how shaky The Miz was during his initial run. Maybe they should have given him more to do than talk up a crappy search for bikini models.
