10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 1992

8. British Bulldog And Ultimate Warrior Were Fired After McMahon Was Indicted for Steroids

British Bulldog Ultimate Warrior Vince McMahon€™s indictment on counts of steroid distribution in late 1992 had an immediate impact on the top stars in the company at the time, specifically The British Bulldog and The Ultimate Warrior. Bulldog and Warrior were part of major storylines in the WWF at the time. Davey Boy had just come off the biggest win of his career at Summerslam in Wembley Stadium, and Warrior was going to team with Macho Man Randy Savage in the main event of Survivor Series. They both had bodies that were obviously enhanced by steroids (probably the two most egregious users in the company), and apparently, they were both receiving shipments of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) from a pharmacy in England. In October, they were immediately fired, although both returned to the company.
