10 Upcoming Movies Featuring WWE Superstars That You Need To See

When you hear the term 'wrestlers in movies', your mind will understandably go in several different directions. There has truly been good, bad and ugly when it comes to grapplers' silver screen appearances over the years. For every Roddy Piper in The Live there is a Hulk Hogan in Santa With Muscles. For every Jesse Ventura in Predator there is a Triple H in Blade: Trinity. There have been genuinely great performances and some that were lucky not to receive a Razzie. Some wrestlers, like The Rock and Batista, have managed to successfully break into Hollywood but they are the exceptions. There is something of a novelty to watching WWE superstars, past and present, appear in movies. Even though we watch them compete every week in the ring, there's something different and exciting about watching them out of their comfort zones and acting (or at least trying to act) in films. 2015 looks like another mixed bag as far as the quality of the films featuring WWE superstars goes. There are gritty documentaries, the typical WWE studios fare, indie horrors and huge Hollywood blockbusters all featuring wrestlers coming out later this. As usual, the performances of said wrestlers will more than likely range from exceptional to woeful. But, regardless of quality of performance or film, there are reasons you should be excited for all of them.
