10 Ways Roman Reigns Can Prove WWE Is His Yard

9. A New Streak

Roman Reigns Undertaker
WWE

On June 21st 2016, Roman Reigns was suspended for his first violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. He took to Twitter to immediately accept responsibility for his actions following the revelation that suspiciously emerged only a day removed from his WWE Title loss to Seth Rollins (who in turn lost it to Dean Ambrose after 'The Lunatic Fringe' cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase).

Upon his return, Reigns found himself in unfamiliar territory examining arena lights across the country. Following his Number One contender's loss to Finn Balor, Reigns' SummerSlam match with Rusev was waved off following a brawl and he'd suffer further defeats to Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and others as part of a rebuilding process that has still yet to return him to the promised land.

Nearly a year on from the suspension, and Reigns has fallen again to Owens in 2017, as well as Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe either side of his WrestleMania victory over The Undertaker.

Roman must now ape the iconic figures that came before him and refuse to lose. Fans back winners, or at least emotionally invest in the eventual defeat of the winners they hate. For Reigns to lay claim to the entire company as his own, he needs to regain the veneer of indestructibility that previously engulfed him.
