10 Worst WWE PPV Matches Of 2019 (So Far)

Who's taking home the six-month sh*t-caked trophy?

Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston's rise to prominence as WWE Champion has been a delight to experience. The same goes for Seth Rollins' supplanting part-time 'Beast' Brock Lesnar as Universal Champ, Batista's emotion after that final moment in the WWE spotlight and Daniel Bryan's smug preachiness as the 'Planet's Champion'.

This writer loves all those characters, and yet almost all of them have been involved in some of the most disappointing main roster pay-per-view matches of 2019 so far. Also included? Old-timey heroes of the past that once thrilled millions with their antics, and a female tag-team who changed the game yet again for women's wrestling in WWE.

It's not nice to brand any of them the "worst", but facts are facts. There have been some real misses on pay-per-view in the first half of the year, and that's why they're on this list; quality, sadly, has no room for nostalgic emotion or favouritism. If a match is bad, it's bad, and that's just the way it is.

There's a turd-topped trophy at stake here. You might not agree with some of the choices or their placements, so feel free to share your own 'Worst Of' picks from Royal Rumble-Stomping Grounds...
