Let it be known that Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the nicest men in wrestling...

Nobody can credibly get angry if it's claimed that Shinsuke Nakamura's main roster WWE run hasn't been as fulfilling as his hardcore fans would've liked.

Yes, Shin has won the 2018 Royal Rumble, competed in WWE Title matches at WrestleMania and captured both the Intercontinental and United States belts over the past two years, but he's been a square peg in a round hole verbally. As much as it's unfair to criticise him because English isn't his first language, it is true that he doesn't exactly fit into WWE's chat-heavy "sports entertainment" presentation character-wise.

There are shoots of recovery now he's aligned with Sami Zayn. That should give Nakamura breathing room to showcase his in-ring skills without pressure to promo, and it might finally gain him acceptance in the eyes of casual viewers. If not, well, he can sleep at night knowing he's a smashing bloke outside the ring.

This week's article proves that. Alongside Shinsuke's generosity and good vibes, there are facts on Britt Baker's WWE squash match experience, the curious mid-90s Super Astros experiment, Braun Strowman's time as a 'Rosebud' and William f'n Shatner at the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Now, where's that script?
