Wrestlers aren't exactly known for keeping their thoughts, feelings, or various anecdotes to themselves.

As soon as a mic is thrown in front of them, it's only a matter of time before a never before heard piece of compelling information tumbles out of their mouths and changes the way you look at certain moments, matches, and events forever.

Were it not for said willingness to reveal the truth, then fans would've likely never discovered what really goes through a wrestler's mind right before they're about to take a frightening move, for example.

But it's not just the guys and gals risking it all in-between the ropes that are capable of altering the way you watch specific pieces of wrestling history. Good ol' eagle-eyed fans also have a wonderful habit of spotting details that make it impossible to watch particular wrasslin' occurrences the same way again.

So, get ready to have your wrestling world flipped upside down, folks, because everything from iconic main events to viral moments of in-ring mayhem are never going to be the same once you reach the end of this particularly surprising list.

10. Kurt Angle Was Only Given Instructions To Grab The Mic Mid-Debut (WWE Survivor Series 1999)

Survivor Series 1999 was quite the night in WWE history.

Not only did it see the Big Show unexpectedly walk out of Detroit as the new WWE Champion, but the event also boasted the in-ring debut of an Olympic gold medalist.

Mid-way through Kurt Angle's first-ever televised WWE match, the eventual World Champion notably got on the mic and began criticising the fans for booing him on his big night.

What you may not have been aware of, though, is that this wasn't part of the original plan.

As Angle himself would recall on his Kurt Angle Show (at around 34:00 in the clip below), Vince McMahon actually only told the referee to get his new star to grab the mic and start blasting the crowd in the thick of the action.

And on a rewatch you can actually clearly see Mike Chioda relaying these instructions when you keep a close eye on the two in the moments before Angle's frustrated rant.

Knowing that this was all completely on the fly in such a high-pressure situation only makes the future Hall of Famer's first night on the job seem even more impressive.
