10 WWE Sidekicks Who Were A Total Liability
7. Stacy Keibler
Ahhh, Stacy, that tall glass of lemon water. Brought over to the WWF from WCW when the company was purchased in spring 2001, the former Nitro dancer had no wrestling experience at all, plucked from obscurity by a talent show. Despite this, she would be regularly thrust into feuds with fellow female performers in her first year, in car crash angles blown off with the usual sexist gimmick matches involving stripping and underwear.
Come 2002 however, creative had clearly decided that working even those kind of bouts didn't play to Keibler's strengths. She was drafted to Smackdown to become a heel Vince McMahon's personal assistance and (kayfabe) mistress, then back to RAW to become Test's agent. She'd be responsible for changing his image, giving him a haircut and insisting he call his fans Testicles, if you can believe that.
Later on that year, she'd become the third wheel in a feud-come-bromance between Scott Steiner and Test that, horrifyingly, lasted a full year, the two jacked-up fools competing to see who could humiliate the others the worst. Keibler would be cast as their onscreen sex slave, attacked and belittled by both to varying degrees and setting back feminism decades.
She'd follow this heap of cringeworthy balderdash with yet more sexist nonsense with the rest of the Divas (feuding over Playboy covers, bikini matches evening gown matches, a Fulfill Your Fantasy battle royale), throughout which she would continue to play the role of tallest-but-least-talented woman on the roster.
Keibler finally left the company in 2006 after a stint on Dancing With The Stars showed her that it was possible for her to work on television without being called a whore or having her clothes ripped off twice a month in front of a screaming live audience. Nobody missed her.
