11 Best WWE Feuds Of The Last 10 Years

1. Chris Jericho Vs. Shawn Michaels

What essentially started with the smashing of the Jeritron 6000 (or was it the Jeritron 5000 at that point?) would go on to become one of the very greatest feuds in WWE history.

As Chris Jericho embraced his inner-heel and turned on idol-cum-friend Shawn Michaels, these pair of all-time greats went on to give fans a lengthy feud that hearkened back to the days of yesteryear. Like Jaws: The Revenge, this one was personal…

No matter what HBK did, the plucky hero just couldn’t get the best of the despicable Jericho. Shawn wanted a match? Sure, but it got stopped by the ref and awarded to Jericho when Y2J beat him to a bloody pulp. Shawn decided to give a retirement speech? Fine, but it ended in his wife getting punched in the mouth by Jericho.

Shawn finally defeated his rival in an unsanctioned match? Yeah, but Jericho went on to win the World Heavyweight Championship later in that same night.

Whilst we’d get to see Jericho dump the Y2J persona and move to a game-changing heel that pulled from the likes of Nick Bockwinkel, this feud is arguably best remembered for the extremely high quality of the matches and promos that two of the greatest of-all time put on together.
