The WWE wheel never stops turning.

WrestleMania 33 came and WrestleMania 33 went, and all eyes now turn to the future of the company. Who is going to get a big push over the summer? Will we see any more shocking returns? Just what is going on with Bray Wyatt?

SummerSlam 2017 will take place on August 20, once again emanating from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Biggest Party of the Summer is arguably WWE's second biggest show of the year, and in recent years it has begun to resemble WrestleMania without all the pizzaz and part-timers. With four months to go (and a superstar shake-up yet to come) it is difficult to make any concrete predictions for this year's SummerSlam. Has that ever stopped anyone from fantasy booking a WWE pay-per-view before?

No, of course not.

WWE's roster is more stacked than ever. The promotion faces a difficult task getting all of its top talent on the card, but it has proved in the past that doing so at SummerSlam isn't so important.

Who will miss out on The Biggest Party of the Summer?

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
