This weekend we have SummerSlam, WWE's second biggest show of the year. It's the perfect occasion to book some shock moments, angles that will fire WWE up for the usually barren autumn season. Remember how The Undertaker losing at WrestleMania got the world talking? WWE loves to get mainstream press like that, particularly as they try to shill the WWE Network. Chances are then, Vince McMahon and co will be coming up with some major surprises for SummerSlam this weekend. There's reason to believe there'll be plenty to talk about the morning after. There's several potential shocks that could be coming our way. Additionally, there's some very big returns that could be in the pipeline. We already know of one major star not booked on the show who'll be in Los Angeles. These are very exciting times indeed. Let's get straight to it, with a major spot that could be happening in the Stephanie McMahon Vs Brie Bella match.
11. Nikki Bella Heel Turn
Nikki Bella stabbing Brie Bella in the back is a serious possibility this Sunday. Back in July, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned that WWE were seriously thinking about it. Logically, it makes sense in several ways. Presumably Nikki screws Brie, handing Stephanie the victory. That would suit WWE, it gives McMahon a victory without hurting Brie's character. She wouldn't really be losing, she'd be getting screwed. It saves face. It would also allow for WWE to close the Stephanie / Brie feud and bounce right into a new autumn series. Nikki vs Brie would inevitably happen at Night Of Champions, the sister vs sister tagline being used to full effect. It'd be a fun feud, personal rivalries like that always do good business. Storyline wise, it also makes sense. Nikki has got fed up of being punished for Brie's attitude. She finally snaps, siding with Stephanie McMahon and costing her sister the victory this weekend.
