The most likely return we'll see this weekend is Sting. Except it won't really be a return, impressively this'll be his first ever time working for Vince McMahon. It will however be his return to the big stage. Not since 2001 has Sting been featured on a major wrestling brand. He spent some time in TNA, but WWE won't be acknowledging that. The decade of dominance he had in WCW is what made Sting an icon, he's a commodity that the WWE has desired for over two decades now. Finally, we might just see it this weekend, Sting in a WWE ring. The Wrestling Observer reports that the Stinger is due to meet with Vince McMahon before Sunday's show. In all likelihood, his deal will be signed at that meeting. That will then allow Sting to make his debut on the grand stage of SummerSlam. How will he be involved? Something as simple as an entrance and promo would do the job. Maybe even just a vignette. Perhaps WWE would even be so bold to have him make a save in the main event match. Or maybe there'll be a face off with Triple H, Sting coming out to interrupt an Authority promo. Both men have already mentioned each other as potential opponents one day. Sting's going to be a big deal, so a major introduction is vital.
