Whether his name is on WWE.com or not, Hulk Hogan might be the most famous professional wrestler ever. His career - both as a wrestler and as a pop culture icon - reads like an encyclopedia of success and of industry defining moments. He's been responsible for both the rise and legitimate claim of the WCW and the industry's greatest heel turn, and he deserved his place at the top of the Hall Of Fame. Sadly for his fans, the Hulk is no more. After an extended legal battle with Gawker whose venom now has more of an explanation beyond privacy invasion, Hogan's image is entirely ruined. He might still be a hero in the hearts of WWE fans, and an instrument force in the industry, but the words that will now follow him are far more cutting. Racist. Bigot. Idiot? But even before WWE made the dramatic decision to cut him out of history, Hogan's professional record was far from unblemished. In fact, there are a number of moments that WWE would never heavily promote actively, and those they would actively seek to suppress, beyond those personal moments like his messy divorce, his crazy ex-wife, his son's car accident, the reality shows or the weird ways that he rubs lotion on his daughter in public...
11. All His Acting Roles (Aside From Rocky 3)
There are plenty of bad movie roles in Hogan's career with No Holds Barred standing out as the worst one. Despite its untold horrors, WWE produced and promoted the film heavily, including bringing in Zeus on WWE TV. In the end, it's almost so bad that it's great. But not quite. As well as that, his tidal wave of garbage included Suburban Commando, Mr. Nanny, The Secret Agent Club, Santa With Muscles, Assault On Devil's Island and an actually funny cameo in Gremlins 2. He also had that Thunder in Paradise TV show in the mid 1990s that was kind of like Baywatch except not without the distractions of semi-naked attractive people. It didn't last long. His first role was actually his best, which is hardly a shock considering Thunderlips was a wrestler and clearly required no range challenges. This actually came a couple of years before his first WWE Title and helped propel him to superstardom. But beyond that, almost everything he's put his name to as an "actor" has been utterly and provocatively unforgettable.
