It’s that time of year where we all get ready to flip the calendars forward, and just before we do so we reflect on the 12 months that have just passed by and take a look at how we could have done things differently.

The New Year’s Resolution has become a bit of a joke, with most people who make them well aware that they rarely make it past March before forgoing them entirely. Wrestlers are people just like us, and I’m sure they make their yearly resolutions as well. For most of the men and women of WWE it probably involves a change in workout regimen or improvement in certain areas of their work, be it in the ring or on the mic. I'm sure there are personal ones as well.

Let’s have a bit of fun and choose a few resolutions that certain WWE superstars need to make in order to have a more prosperous 2017.

12. Brock Lesnar Resolves To UFC Return

While he may not be available to fight again until late in the summer thanks to his suspension after failing a USADA drug test, Brock Lesnar should definitely resound himself to returning to the octagon for yet another run. Vince McMahon and WWE provided surprisingly little resistance when The Beast stepped back in the cage for UFC 200, and it’s a win-win for both companies to have him pull double duty.

Lesnar looked great against veteran striker Mark Hunt, and proved that even after sitting out of the sport for several years he can still compete at a high level thanks to his freakish athleticism and wrestling pedigree.

Brock Lesnar occupies the rare air alongside Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey and Georges St. Pierre as the biggest draws the UFC has ever had, and if the competitive fire still burns within him – and I think it does – there’s no reason why he shouldn’t make a return to the UFC in 2017 as the sport’s biggest heel.
