The annual Road to WrestleMania is like Christmas come early for fans of the traveling circus known as sports-entertainment. It is a road full of bumps, of twists and turns and of potholes that keep fans engaged and compelled by the stories told by World Wrestling Entertainment ahead of its biggest night. It is rarely a smooth ride, and the card for the most important show of the calendar year often is shuffled, then reshuffled in hopes to present fans with the most magical night of action and drama imaginable. There will be stories and matches integral to the overall success of the show but those two elements are only as good as the men and women involved. As the greatest and most prolific wrestling company embarks on its annual road to glitz, glamour and spectacle, there are numerous Superstars and Divas who bear watching. They are the competitors who will capture the attention of the fans, their performances dragging them along for the emotional roller coaster that will make up the next two months. From headline names and all-time greats, to indy darling newcomers and immensely talented women, these are the 13 Superstars that deserve your attention as the Showcase of the Immortals approaches.
13. Paige
Does anyone really expect WWE to book a Divas Championship match for WrestleMania and not feature Paige? Sure, she has disappeared since returning to television, stuck in a going-nowhere partnership with Natalya, but the British-born Diva is an elite performer within the women's division and someone heavily featured on pay-per-view and television by WWE's crack creative staff throughout 2015. The idea that WWE would book a major championship bout without including the woman who is, arguably, the most over female performer on the roster is implausible. The only question is how they insert her into the title picture. Does the developing three-way rivalry between Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks become a Fatal 4-Way or does WWE throw Paige into some sort of convoluted battle royal or multi-woman bout for the Divas Championship? As one of the most naturally charismatic stars on the female roster, and a star of Total Divas, it is very unlikely that the raven-haired goddess is left to watch the biggest show of the year from catering.
