SURPRISE!

Jon Moxley was pulling the wool over Chris Jericho's eyes by pretending he'd join the Inner Circle and bow to the power of material possessions. As much as the closing promo segment on this week's Dynamite could've been a bit slicker, it did get the job done, and attention will now turn to proper build for a title match at Revolution.

Some fans might not like that AEW are taking things slowly, but they have to. The company aren't running a pay-per-view every month, so spreading storylines out is the right call. Besides, who can really complain when shows are stacked with so many delectable hidden delights like the 16 on offer here?

MJF stole the show (as per usual) by being a colossal d*ckhead to everyone in sight. Many of his mannerisms were hidden away on the bottom right corner of the screen during those double feature ad breaks though, making them easy to miss.

Other gems include an Orange Cassidy 'Mini-Me', Jim Ross namedropping WWE talent, some subtly 'Elite' storytelling and a big bit of that now-famous bubbly...
