It was Rowan, Roman. It was Rowan all along, Roman.

OK, so this is probably a red herring thrown out there to keep the whodunit story ticking along and involve as wide a cast of characters as possible, but it does raise an interesting question. Why would Rowan, of all people, attempt to murder Reigns with a forklift and car on live television? Daniel Bryan is asking the same question.

His quizzical response to the revelation is something you might've totally missed on this week's episode of SmackDown. Other gems that may have flown under your radar include the weirdest, clunkiest homage to a legend yet, Tom Phillips spitting venom at Shane McMahon, Shane-O slyly putting Kevin Owens over even when kicking his ass and rare heel exoneration.

Elsewhere on the program, Bryan suffered a random, nasty bump that could've been disastrous to his prospects of another top line feud, fans got creative with superstar names, Ali's promo skills were completely ignored and...well, Aleister Black was one cool and slick motherf*cker.

Here's everything you probably missed from this week's SmackDown...
