17 WWE Problems Only Kane Would Understand

It isn't easy being a big red machine.

Kane is one of the definitive legends of WWE's Attitude Era. His Big Red Machine character stood out and he backed it up consistently with solid in-ring performances. Almost two decades later, he's the only one of his generation who is still working each and every week. That quality and longevity has earned him the respect of his peers and fans. But behind the scenes, it hasn't always been a journey of success. There's a world of WWE problems that only Kane would understand. The 48 year old first started his wrestling career in 1992 on his local independent scene. Despite his 7 feet and 320 pounds, he was always an athletic guy. That made him a certainty for a WWF contract, as he had the giant look and in-ring skills to make an immediate impact. Yet that's not what happened. Glenn Jacobs would endure two unbelievably horrible gimmicks in his early WWF run and it was two years with the company before he finally got his big break as Kane. But even as successful as that character has been, there's also been plenty of woeful creative around him. Add that to all the personal and political difficulties he's had in his career and you can see that even for a legendary star it can still be a very problematic lifestyle in the WWE.
