No matter how many years pass, no matter where in the world he wrestles, Kane still gets the same old heckles about Isaac Yankem. It is proof that a bad gimmick really can haunt a career. Isaac Yankem was the act that Glenn Jacobs debuted in the WWF with, the basis being that he was a psychopathic dentist. It was the kind of occupational gimmick that belonged a decade earlier in the cartoon era. In the mid 90's new generation, it just came across as daft. A wrestling dentist? How dumb. The derision has never really gone away, even a legendary character like Kane couldn't counter the jokes.
