12. Jerry Lynn vs. AJ Styles vs. Low Ki (TNA 2002)
For a lot of fans, this entry may come as somewhat of a surprise, but it still stands the test of time as a real revolutionary moment in the history of TNA. In a promotion which has offered a lot of entertainment, yet never really found their own identity, the X Division represents one of the best 'presents' that TNA as a company has ever provided to the world of professional wrestling. After a miserable run in WWF/WWE, Jerry Lynn was eager to re-establish himself in the grappling world, and he was joined by a pair of hungry young performers who wanted to make their own splash. Both AJ Styles and Low Ki had been pivotal parts of the first batch of Ring Of Honor shows, but it was with TNA that they really started to turn heads. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCSHPWH8d90 Younger fans may find it difficult to grasp the idea of the early TNA shows, which were held as weekly Pay-Per-View offerings, but bouts such as the Triple Threat Ladder Match featuring Lynn, Ki and Styles were crucial in trying to entice viewers to keep forking out cash and tuning in. The weekly idea was flawed from the outset, but at least there were some awesome matches, and this was one of them.
