It's been told that Chris Jericho was the man who came up with the idea of 'Money In The Bank'. Envisioning a scenario whereby he could help turn what seemed like a routine, dull multi-man match at WrestleMania 21 into something special, Y2J pitched the idea to WWE's management, and they loved it immediately. Given that it was the first bout in the stipulation's history, the initial Money In The Bank clash had a freshness to it that subsequent affairs lacked somewhat.
