14. Chris Jericho Wrestled A Match With A Broken Arm

Before his time in WCW, Chris Jericho wrestled a tag match for Jim Cornette in Smokey Mountain Wrestling with a freshly broken arm.

Jericho busted it training in the ring before the show. Specifically, Jericho was trying to pull off a Shooting Star Press, a move he'd seen in Japan and which no less a star than Ultimo Dragon had convinced him was in his wheelhouse. It was not in his wheelhouse.

Why on earth did he go ahead with the match? Because he promised Cornette he would. Not only that, but he ran through the match exactly as originally laid out, swapping out his right arm for his left when the situation warranted it... because even a dumbass rookie version of Chris Jericho is still harder and more old school than you or your dad.
