15. Lou Thesz Was Really Precious About His (Lack Of) Hair
Everyone's got their in-ring foibles and eccentricities. Despite his acting training and natural mic ability, The Rock likes to have Brian Gewirtz write his promos for him, even though Gewirtz is no longer on the WWE payroll. Shawn Michaels, despite being ambidextrous and regularly switching which elbow he'd drop from the turnbuckle, always delivered the superkick with his right leg.
There are many, many more - but the legendary Lou Thesz had them all beat. He was so sensitive about his thinning hair that he'd stop working and even potato people who touched the top of his head.
The fearsome Thesz had such a reputation as a shooter that people learned very quickly to take him over by the side of the head, not the top. Bad things tended to happen to those who forgot.
