The Undertaker: 5 Reasons We Should Have Seen The End Of The Streak Coming

WWE shocked the world last night at Wrestlemania 30 when Brock Lesnar broke The Undertaker's legendary streak of 21 wins and no losses. The second the referee's hand hit the ground for the third time, the Superdome resonated with the shock of 75,000 people. To say it is the end of an era does not come close to describing it. For the enormous generation gaps between fans, from the people who grew up during Hulkamania, to those who cheered The Rock and Austin in the Attitude Era to the fans of today, The Streak was always there. It was the one thing that united us all more than anything else, no matter who left the company or who was champion, The Undertaker was always there, and The Streak was always there. And now it's over, and there may never be anything like it again. We are still united as fans, because a little piece of all of our childhoods is now gone forever. That being said, now that the dust is starting to settle and we've had time to process it, we begin to see the writing that was on the wall, and realise that this was inevitable. Yes, it's sad that The Streak was ended by Brock Lesnar of all people, but when you look at it, a certain amount of sense is made.
