We are inside a fortnight before WrestleMania, and while the card is shaping up to look like a very solid day (and night) of wrestling, the build on Raw has been hit-or-miss. And Monday’s episode of Raw was a perfect example of that.

The main matches (Universal Championship and mixed tag match) already are set in stone, so anything added on for build is just gravy. The midcard title matches might be sleeper contests that could be mini-show-stealers if given time. And that’s just the Raw side of the card.

However, there is one glaring problem facing WWE right, now: Its major WrestleMania attraction for the past quarter-century is nowhere to be seen, but he’s being called out by the company’s biggest star of the past 15 years. The result is a weird dynamic of a match fans would love to see with a storyline that is stuck in the mud. It’s a problem that will most likely be “fixed” next week, which really is the 11th hour for resolving storylines.

Still, there’s plenty of stuff to look forward to for WrestleMania, but there also were some questionable decisions during Monday’s episode.

Let’s find out how things are going as we wind down the Road to WrestleMania. Let’s get to it…

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
