7 Reasons Why Lucha Underground Is Way Better Than WWE

Everything you don't like about WWE has been fixed by Lucha Underground.

Lucha Underground Lucha Underground debuted with surprisingly little fanfare and hype from within the IWC last October. Because the English version was on a small time cable channel, and because WWE dominates the wrestling world with a borderline monopoly over wrestling interests, it was hard for the little federation to make an impact on arrival, and punch through all the noise of minor organisations and WWE€™s revisionist history. None of this ultimately mattered though, because Lucha Underground made a massive impact amongst wrestling fans worldwide when it debuted. We probably shouldn€™t have been surprised €“ after all the show has television genius Mark Burnett (the man responsible for Survivor) producing, alongside legendary film maker Robert Rodriguez. And the show utilised some of the best Mexican talent available from AAA Wrestling who were fresh to audiences outside of Mexico. But still, it did come as a bit of a surprise, and within the first couple of months Lucha Underground has staked its claim in the world of Professional Wrestling as hands down the best wrestling product on television today. Lucha Underground has taken a product that WWE has forgotten how to produce and repackaged it to perfection. The crew behind Lucha have taken all the mistakes that WWE has made over the past few years, and has then actively gone the opposite way to make the most compelling and fascinating wrestling show that has been seen on television since the Monday Night Wars. Here are seven reasons why today Lucha Underground is doing wrestling entertainment way better than WWE, and is the must see wrestling show of 2015.
