Impact Wrestling's Homecoming pay-per-view was a success.

No matter whether you're a fan of the current product or not, you can't argue that the company has, creatively at least, rose back to a position of prominence. Combining the current management team with the phenomenal roster full of some of the independent circuit's finest talent, we've seen some incredible things from Impact over the past year.

Homecoming was the next step for everyone involved. All four of the company's championships were up for grabs, including the return of the fan favourite Ultimate X Match for the vacant X Division Championship. The four competitors involved provided one of the most enjoyable bouts in the stipulation's history, but it's fairly difficult to have a bad Ultimate X Match.

The Knockouts division saw some interesting developments, with the return of a certain former Knockouts Champion. In addition, the Knockouts Championship match provided another chapter to the rivalry between Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie. Although a new champion was crowned, the rivalry ended on a bit of a down (assuming this is the end that is).

Following what he did at the end of the show, we can't not speak about Killer Kross, right? The man is undoubtedly one of the roster's most improved stars in the last few months, going from being one of the promotion's most underutilised talents to a key player in the main event scene.

From start to finish, it was one of the greatest nights in Impact history. Let's get to it.
