7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Homecoming 2019

Downs...

2. Bad Booking

This might be a bit of a nitpick, but isn't that what this column's all about?

Throughout this whole strange rivalry between Eddie Edwards and Moose, we've been made to believe that a) Eddie is a crazed maniac who will stop at nothing to get revenge on his former friend, and b) Moose is a viable heel. The first of those statements has come to fruition, as we've seen Eddie escape an institution just to interrupt Moose's match. The second however, not so much.

Moose hasn't done that much to impress as a heel. The weird fashion choices aren't enough unfortunately. This was the opportunity to change that by having the former Grand Champion come out on top in their Falls Count Anywhere encounter. It wasn't the case though, as it was indeed Edwards who won, albeit with some assistance from wife Alisha.

It puts over Eddie with his new character direction but overall, it was the wrong winner.
