Shakeup THIS!

It was another crazy week in professional wrestling, as the JBL/Mauro Ranallo story really took off and hit the fringes of the mainstream media. Because of that, Bradshaw was over-the-top in his niceness on SmackDown. As Byron Saxton marked out over the New Day coming to the show, you could see JBL wasn't able to call him an idiot or harass him for it. He just had to sit there and pretend he was excited about his co-hosts enthusiasm. It was pretty satisfying. Now just fire the dude, and the wrestling world will be a better place.

Of course, the big thing from a storyline standpoint this week was the Superstar Shakeup, which opens up the possibility of a Shield reunion on Raw, and Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens fighting every other week for the next year on SmackDown. We also saw Finn Bálor get knocked the hell out from an errant forearm, and Charlotte nearly get killed over a shoulder breaker, which turned into a head-breaker. Also, Braun Strowman can lift ambulances. Eh, why not?

Over on Impact, Josh Mathews may finally be gone from commentary, which is the best move the promotion has made since...since....holy s**t is that the best move they've EVER made? It sure wasn't bringing in Hulk Hogan, RVD, Eric Bischoff or D'Lo Brown. Let's just hope it sticks, and Josh isn't at home building his own version of the Cole Mine at the moment.

Now let's not waste any more time. In honor of our hurt buddy Finn, let's climb the top rope and Coup de Grace our way through the seven worst wrestling moments of the week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
