8 Reasons Roman Reigns Is The Biggest Heel In WWE

The Big Dog may be WWE's hero of the moment, but he's also the biggest heel on the roster...

Roman Reigns is the second coming of John Cena. For the past year or so, he's rapidly ascended to the status of WWE's top babyface, riding a wave of internal support, overcoming some incredibly negative crowd reactions, and capturing the hearts of thousands of younger fans in the process. He's also the biggest heel on the roster. A quick point of clarification: I don't actually believe Joe Anoa'i to be a bad guy - he seems like a very hard worker, and a good ambassador for the company. But the persona of Roman Reigns? He's definitely a huge heel, for a variety of reasons. Some revolve around his persona, others his actions - but all confirm that the Big Dog isn't quite as as squeaky clean as he initially comes across.

8. He Never Helps His Buddies

How many times have we seen The Usos and Dean Ambrose rush to Roman's aid during a beatdown? So, so many - especially since he entered the WWE World Heavyweight Championship scene properly, following Seth Rollins' injury. Now, how many times have we seen Reigns save Jimmy and Jey from a New Day beatdown, or help Dean fight off a vicious assault from Kevin Owens? Exactly. Roman may portray himself as a loyal friend, but when push comes to shove, he's always looking out for number one. You could easily argue that he's a bigger heel than superstars such as the New Day or League of Nations, groups that function in a far more cohesive and selfless fashion.
