Cena and Batista have had a long and storied rivalry in WWE, but their first singles match surprisingly didn't happen until SummerSlam 2008. Hey, if you're going to have two of the biggest stars in the industry clash, you might as well make it a main event of one of the biggest shows of the year, right? The match was exceptional, with both guys trading big moves with one another and the crowd buying into every false finish. Most suspected the end had come when Batista caught Cena coming off the top rope with a Batista Bomb as Cena was going for that weird leg drop/Rocker Dropper thing he does. When Cena kicked out, it looked as though it was time for another 'classic' John Cena comeback.
