Batista Reportedly Starring In James Bond 24

WWE superstar set to play the henchman villain Hinx.

Dave Batista is set to star in next year's James Bond movie, according to a report at latino-review.com. The WWE wrestler will play Hinx, the main henchman who will be having several fight scenes with James Bond. The film is currently titled 'Bond 24' and will be released in late 2015. It will begin filming this December, with Daniel Craig returning to the Bond role for the fourth occasion. The recent casting call for Hinx sounds just like Batista - "Ideally over 6? 2?. Hinx is the main henchman/assassin. We are looking for an imposing extremely physically fit actor. He has several fights with Bond and will have to have stunt training. He has to drive. We are looking for someone very unusual, possibly from a sports background." The WWE star fits that criteria and he's also carrying quite the reputation from his performance in Guardians Of The Galaxy. The makers of Bond will look to capitalise on Batista's fame and this role could prove to be a major benchmark in his burgeoning acting career. In some ways, starring in Bond is a much bigger deal than Drax in Guardians. Where this leaves the WWE is unknown. Batista had been expected to return for a match at WrestleMania 31 in March. However, his acting career has really taken off since his role as Drax. He now has way more going for him in Hollywood than he does in the squared circle. Chances are he'll put wrestling on hold to take this Bond role and court other film opportunities.
