Big WWE Double Turn For Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns Nixed?

Something has got to give!

Most fans would agree that over the past few months, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have been horribly miscast. A simple solution would have been to just turn both of them at the same time, preferably when Rollins originally returned from injury. Obviously, that didn't happen.

However, Ringsidenews has reported that apparently a double turn was actually on the table, but the company didn't go through with it. So right now, Reigns will continue on as a face, and Rollins will begin to move further into good guy territory as well.

The plan is for Rollins to firmly establish himself as a face sometime in the near future, so they can plan out a Rollins/Hunter match, possibly for Royal Rumble or WrestleMania.

WWE made a major mistake by not turning Rollins upon his return, and they continue to make a mistake every single week by not turning Reigns. They keep fighting the current on that, when it's clear to most that he would make a far better heel. Vince is amazingly stubborn on this move, which in part has lead to a lot of apathy in his product.

Hopefully WWE puts the double turn back on the table, as you can imagine that would generate quite a bit of fan interest.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
