22. The Marine 2 (2009)

The Marine The Condemned Scorpion King Inside Out
WWE Studios

Starring: Ted DiBiase Jr.

Replacing John Cena with Ted DiBiase for the first straight-to-video Marine sequel is something of a bizarre choice, though this is a good deal better than either of The Miz's entries into the franchise that followed.

WWE Studios' resident action director Roel Reine delivers some solid visuals and watchable action full of gore, even if the plot is as thin as you'd expect.

The addition of Michael Rooker as DiBiase's sidekick adds a much-needed personality injection to the whole outing, even if like Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia, this one feels like a 1996 Steven Seagal film from start to finish.

As for DiBiase? He does a serviceable job, but lacks the charisma to really carry a series, which is probably why he didn't do anymore.
