WWE.com reported Friday that Kurt Angle will wrestle in a WWE ring for the very first time in 11 years this weekend as he replaces Roman Reigns in the WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs main event.

In addition, WWE.com also reported that WWE Champion AJ Styles would be replacing Bray Wyatt in the scheduled grudge match against "The Demon" Finn Balor.

Both huge changes to the PPV come admist reports online that WWE's locker room was suffering from a case of viral meningitis that was spreading across the roster and indeed, WWE confirmed it was "medical issues" that led to the changes. This would certainly explain why two top stars have been removed from the TLC card just 48 hours before it's scheduled to take place.

Angle performing on the TLC PPV this weekend would mark the Olympic gold medalist's first match in a WWE ring in over 11 years. The current Raw General Manager will team with Reigns' Shield brothers Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to take on Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Kane and Braun Strowman in a 5-on-3- Handicap bout.
