Ranking All Of Randy Orton's Alliances, Stables And Partnerships In WWE
7. Sheamus And Big Show
Unless he's surrounded by Superstars he knows he can trust, Randy Orton seems to pride himself on being a loner. When it comes to fighting a common cause, however, he has let his guard down at times and teamed up with wrestlers he normally wouldn't.
In other words, yes, the trio of Orton, Big Show and Sheamus on paper was every bit as random six years ago as it is today. The three of them didn't share many similarities aside from how they all had their respective run-ins with The Shield in the first few months of 2013, and that was what ultimately brought them together.
Sheamus had already lost to The Shield alongside John Cena and Ryback at Elimination Chamber but picked up two new partners in Orton and Show on the road to WrestleMania 29. It took time for Orton and Sheamus to convince Show of their plan at first to decimate The Shield, but once they all got on the same page, they were a seemingly unstoppable unit.
Despite having momentum on their side heading into WrestleMania, their partnership fell apart when Orton tagged himself in during the six-man tag team match at the event and got himself pinned. The World's Largest Athlete knocked out both of his partners afterward, ending their alliance in the process.
