Title: WWE Championship

Match Time: 7:03

This was an odd one at the time, and still very peculiar looking back at it now ten years later.

At just a few seconds over seven minutes, this is comfortably the shortest entry on this list. It was a match that sat in the middle of the card, with only two matches shorter on the night, one of those being a 62-second Money in the Bank cash-in.

It was also Batista’s first ever WWE Championship win, a reign that would unfortunately come to an abrupt end just two days later, after he suffered a bicep tear and vacated the strap.

It just seemed like a rush job and a missed opportunity to make the Animal’s big win something a bit more special than, well, nothing.

As much as they tried to pack some action in, the short run time never gave them a chance to develop or build into anything. It just kind of ended when you thought it was going to kick into the next gear.

Orton spent nearly the entirety trying to get out of the cage, running around or away from Batista, or being on the end of his offence. He was booked terribly as the reigning World Champion.

Although it did fit his character, he was made to look like a chump.
