Ranking Every WWE WrestleMania 34 Match By Level Of Hype

Some we're waiting on bated breath for, others... not so much.

You might disagree, but in this author's humble opinion, we're looking at one of the most stacked WrestleMania cards since, gosh, either WrestleMania XIX or X-Seven. For as much as fans rightfully decry WrestleMania's ever-growing length into eight-hour tests of endurance, it's commendable that this year, most of the matches feel justified and organically built.

And, to their credit, WWE aren't solely relying on a bunch of multi-man matches just to fit everyone on the card. Just look: WrestleMania 34 will have not one, but two standard women's singles matches that have had actual story put into them. Compared to even the WWE of last year, that's scarcely believable

Still, with such a huge card, not every part of the build can be a slam dunk. Some of the matches, on paper, just look like duds, and there's little to be done about it. For every dream match or high-profile gimmicked affair WWE are trotting out, there are ones we're already designating for a smoke break or to go get our Dominos order. There's always a good chance our expectations will be defied, but using our crystal ball, these are what they are right now.

13. Both Battle Royals

What's better than one Battle Royal? Two Battle Royals!

Wait, no, that's not right. Battle Royals always stink up the joint. What's better than one is none at all. But hey, WWE have a huge roster, and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is a convenient way to get all the male competitors on the card, and now that WWE has decided to have singles matches for their women's title this year, a battle royal has been made for their glut of women not in those bouts.

What's hilarious is how WWE, even after four years of evidence to the contrary, is trying to claim that winning one of these battle royals is a huge boost to a superstar's career. Just to illustrate the absurdity of that sentiment, Baron Corbin and Mojo Rawley, two of the past Andre battle royal winners, have gained little to nothing from their victories, and are back in the match this year.

As pointless as these matches are in the grand scheme, they're still likely a necessary addition, as WrestleMania gets longer and longer, it's nice to have a battle royal for a quarter of an hour while your buddy goes on another beer run.
