After spearing AJ Styles out of nowhere and pinning the Phenomenal One to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship last night at WWE Extreme Rules, Roman Reigns could be forgiven for thinking his night's work was done and he could saunter to the back to catch up with his Uso cousins.

Unfortunately for him, Seth Rollins appeared equally out of nowhere and planting him face-first into the mat.

You'd think being blindsided after a gruelling 20+ minute title defence would garner the guy some sympathy, but unfortunately for Roman this wasn't the case. As he groggily made his way to his feet, rowdy and excitable fans in the arena greeted the woken champ with a chorus of boos, which would continue until the lonely figure of Roman Reigns was no longer visible inside the arena.

Yes, the fans literally booed him out of the arena.

The point has been made a thousand times and it is clear to everyone who watches WWE; Roman Reigns is not going to be accepted as the hero of the WWE Universe. Getting booed out of the building after being attacked by a returning sneaky heel is further confirmation of this.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
