Scott Steiner: 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

Scott Steiner is one of the most physically imposing men to ever step inside the squared circle. The former NCAA Division 1 All American wrestler broke into the business in 1986 under the tutelage of Vince McMahon's favorite wrestler, Dr, Jerry Graham. His athleticism, physique and innovative style quickly got him noticed and it wasn't long before he was headed for much bigger things. After gaining some experience in the territories, he and his brother Rick formed one of the greatest tag teams of all-time. The Steiner Brothers are 11 time World Tag Team Champions and have had classic matches around the world in nearly every major company. However, Scott is perhaps best known for his singles run in the late 90s as Big Poppa Pump. With a look inspired by Superstar Billy Graham, Steiner developed a reputation among fans and colleagues as a loose cannon. His promos became a fascinating mix of nonsensical rambling, shoot comments and pure genius. Unfortunately, by the time he was hitting his stride as a personality, his in-ring prime had long since passed. In the trade-off for becoming a genetic freak with the "largest arms in the world", Steiner's mobility and explosive offense had become severely limited and he was no longer capable of delivering consistently great performances between the ropes. His career is filled with unforgettable classic matches (for both good and bad reasons), trainwreck awesome promos, and plenty of controversy. Let's take a look at 5 awesome matches and 5 that sucked from the career of The Big Bad Booty Daddy. There's a 141 and 2/3% chance you'll enjoy it.
