The Rock BLASTS "Horsesh*t" Dave Meltzer Report

The Rock has fired back at recent reports from Wrestling Observer chief Dave Meltzer that his behaviour and language on-screen and via social media has caused frustration for some on WWE's roster.

Rocky replied to a Twitter/X post on Meltzer's comments by definitively saying: "This story is complete horsesh*t". Naturally, it wasn't long before fans piled in to cheer the WWE man on. Some were clearly delighted that The Rock had aimed fire at The Observer head.

Meltzer's report included suggestions that WWE has one rule for Rock and another for everybody else. It alleged that even top names like Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are expected to be mindful of their language on TV, on socials and in the media, but he isn't. According to The Rock, that simply isn't true.

'The Great One' was in no mood to mess about and explain things either. He just called the story "horsesh*t" and moved on.

This literally just happened on X, so nobody on The Observer's side has had a chance to respond. It'll be interesting to see what Meltzer has to say about things, but this obviously isn't the first time workers in the biz have roared back against his reports.
