TNA Offer Goldberg Wrestling Return?

Is the WCW legend seriously considering it?

It has been over a decade since Bill Goldberg was last seen in a professional wrestling ring as an active competitor, but rumours continue to persist about a return to wrestling for the late 90s wrestling icon. Having spent less than a decade in the wrestling business, Goldberg has kept himself in great shape and remained healthy during his time away from the squared circle, leading many to believe that he still has one big match left in the tank. In an interview with Channel Guide Magazine, Goldberg recently discussed a possible return. However, according to Goldberg, it's not WWE who have been in contact with him about having another match.

€œI was very lucky in that I did not kill myself during my tenure in the wrestling world. My body still can take some serious abuse as we see with me training Muay Thai kickboxing three days a week. As long as I got this little boy with a desire to see me do something in the ring, there is the idea of never say never." €œWhen something supersedes your business sense, it has to be ego or something ridiculous. I surely am not going to miss a bit of sleep if I don€™t get a phone call from them. I just got contacted by TNA a couple of days ago. I don€™t know. They want to promote the movie since one of my adversaries in the film is Bram (Thomas Latimer), who works for them. I€™m greatly appreciative they want to help the movie out. Now at the end of the day, promoting the movie is one thing, but getting a guy like Goldberg in your wrestling organization is a completely different story. We€™ll see.€
With TNA currently unable to secure a television deal in the United States going into 2016, the notion that a big money star like Goldberg would consider working for them seems questionable at best. However, with WWE suffering from a severe lack of star power and hype for their prospective WrestleMania 32 card, it's not out of the question that WWE could make an offer for a Goldberg return in the coming months. Goldberg tantalisingly ended with an encouraging 'we'll see', indicating that it's something that he's at least thinking about. Goldberg is a smart business man, though, and it's hard to envisage him making any sort of in-ring return unless there is big money to be made (and rightly so). He's been very outspoken about WWE's treatment of him in the past, but with his young son desperate to see him wrestle in person we may finally get to see one more match from Da Man. Which leaves just one question: WHO'S NEXT?
