PWInsider reports that "TNA will be debuting a former WWE talent" at Slammiversary 2026 on 28 June in Boston, Massachusetts. This comes in the wake of news that Amazing Red will make his return to the promotion as part of an Ultimate X bout for Cedric Alexander's X Division Title.

There's no word on exactly who this "former WWE talent" is at time of writing, but the website also noted that it's a former "multi-time singles champion". So, are they talking about the actual WWE or World Heavyweight belts, or is it a lesser title like the United States Title? That's still up for debate too.

However, PWInsider did manage to find out that this mystery worker would be making their TNA debut, so that rules out a lot of folks who have previously worked in the company.

Changes are afoot behind the cameras as well as inside the ring - Eric Tompkins (TNA's Vice President of TV Production) will now be working alongside Delirious on the creative side of things, and they could be set for help in the form of ex-WWE man Road Dogg.

TNA has reportedly been trying to keep that quiet recently, but Triple H's old pal is "expected" to be on hand at Slammiversary in some form or fashion. It'll be fun to find out whether or not this leads to anything larger scale for the former WWE creative team member.
