Top WWE Star Deactives X Account
This former WWE Champion is the latest to deactivate their X account.
With social media always such an interesting place, WWE star Sheamus has opted to deactivate his X (formerly Twitter) account.
If attempting to search for the Celtic Warrior on X, you'll be greeted with the following message:
Sheamus is the latest of several wrestling talents to step away from X on a temporary or permanent basis over the years, and one can't blame the four-time World Champion.
Having been absent from WWE since wrestling Edge - the Rated-R Superstar's final WWE match - on an episode of SmackDown in August, Sheamus' return to action was said to be "imminent" back in January. The 46-year-old has been out of action with a shoulder issue, and many presumed he'd return either at the Royal Rumble or on the Road to WrestleMania.
As and when Sheamus does return to WWE, it's a vastly different landscape to what the 22-year veteran saw in August. In particular, the Brawling Brutes are no more, with Ridge Holland back in NXT, and Butch having reverted to his Pete Dunne moniker and now teaming with Tyler Bate.
