WWE: 10 Cliffhanger Raw Endings To Get Fans Buying The Network

This week's RAW is going to be the most important wrestling show of the modern era!

The launch of the WWE Network is upon us, going live this Monday after WWE Raw goes off the air. It's essential that the company gets the Network off to a good start, snapping up subscribers at the earliest opportunity. The fact is WWE almost can't afford to fail with this, they need those credit cards to get registered as soon as possible. The reason for this is because the value of WWE events has forever been changed, now worth just $9.99 with the Network compared to the usual $50 pay per view retailing. As such, WWE needs to make up for the losses with a healthy number of locked in subscribers, and they need to do it as soon as possible due to traditional PPV distributors already dropping the WWE box office product. One way for WWE to nail early success has to be a cliffhanger finish to Raw on Monday night, requiring a Network subscription to see the outcome of the TV show. The way I envision it, WWE will do a big angle and be in the middle of it when Michael Cole declares they have run out of air time ... finishing by saying "Order The Network now and switch to the WWE Channel to see the live finish of this!" It makes logical sense. If the company offers up something major and gets us invested in the angle on Raw, only to switch the conclusion to the Network, many fans won't be able to resist signing up just to see what happens. A live Raw main event on the Network is the compelling start the channel needs. The launch shouldn't be a tame Raw aftershow, it should be a full on segment of Raw available exclusively to subscribers. Vince McMahon will be keenly aware of this, so here are 10 ideas for the WWE to consider for cliffhanger endings to get fans switching to the Network on Monday night...
