10. Chris McCumber, President Of The USA Network
WWE is at the very core all about Monday Night Raw. It is Vince McMahon's primary content and his key selling tool for all other media, merchandise and more. The three hour slot on the USA Network is of vital importance to McMahon - and his relationship with the network boss and their delegates has always been a huge factor of priority. The current president of the USA network is Chris McCumber. Despite only being promoted to this position in September 2013, McCumber has a long history with McMahon, and worked closely with him during his last position as co-president of USA. Both men are vitally important to each other. McMahon needs McCumber as much as McCumber needs McMahon. Both sides have interests tied up in selling advertising (the main reason Raw is three hours), and producing content which is a jewel in USA's crown for ratings and audiences. McCumber is in the top ten most important people with WWE because he is one of the few men who could get Vince McMahon to jump. He is so important that he can be thought of as a very part of the WWE itself - it is after all USA who are hosting the party. Vince is described as very nervous and in awe of the network chiefs, they are the select people who can be seen as masters to McMahon. The boss of USA can dictate the very direction of Raw. Earlier in 2013 a phone call from USA expressed a desire to feature more of the 'McMahon family storyline characters' on Raw, USA thought it would boost ratings - Vince sent the message to creative and immediately written more of the Stephanie McMahon character into the show.
