WWE: 10 Most Powerful People Right Now (In Order Of Importance)

9. John Cena, Franchise Star And Best Selling Asset

john-cena-wwe-champion The key powers directing the WWE are mostly the business men who operate the company - but as the franchise star, John Cena is the one wrestler who commands power within the WWE. Cena is a highly valued asset to WWE. He boosts TV ratings and pay per view buys, as well as being the number 1 seller in merchandise. This allows Cena to wield a level of power within the company, and Cena himself recently estimated the "John Cena brand" to be worth somewhere over 100 million dollars. John can pretty much do whatever he wants thanks to his standing, and is used by WWE as the key representative to show case the company to mainstream media and charity. Cena is a commercial enterprise in himself. Cena rarely wields his power, but has been known to block certain talent from the company. Kenny Dykstra believes he lost his job because of personal issues with Cena, and it is thought that Mickie James will not be welcomed back in to the WWE locker room because of her past relationship (affair) with Cena which ended badly. In 2013, John Cena is the most valuable name in wrestling. Vince McMahon has rewarded John with both money and power. The WWE's biggest on air asset looks set to continue as the face of the franchise.
