WWE: 10 Things From WWE History We Still Need Closure From

WWE fans are very accustomed to plot holes and open doors. They are actually a necessary evil, an unavoidable part of pro wrestling storytelling. Without them there are no surprises, no opportunities for potential drama surrounding the top Superstars. A truly successful angle sees a logical beginning, followed by a captivating series of matches and then ends with a satisfying conclusion. Most of the time that is the ebb and flow, the way that the company develops its characters and helps them grow into more interesting attractions that fans want to see. But without the chance of that open door to create excitement and unexpected moments along the way, the product can become very stale indeed. But at what point does the open door need to close? That is the question that many WWE fans ask on a daily basis, as many issues continue to go unresolved. But truth be told, some of those nagging issues have seen a conclusion in recent years. Bret Hart has publicly made peace with Shawn Michaels. Bruno Sammartino is in the Hall of Fame. And this year, Hulk Hogan finally returned to the company. So, some progress has been made. But there are still past incidents with no end in sight, absent Superstars that may or may not return for one more match and a great number of things that the WWE faithful would like the curtain to fall on. And these are 10 of the most talked about items that demand closure.
